This problem is caused by outlook 2000 or outlook 2003 not having an accossiated browser to open links.
This happens normally when your internet browser was uninstalled and reinstalled. This causes the Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Outlook Express to lose the default browser setting.
You can configure Internet Explorer browser by following these steps:
FIRST: Close all Internet Explorer and Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Outlook Express
Click Start> Control Panel> Internet Options> Click on Programs tab at the top> Under "Default Web Browser" Click on "Make Default"> Tick the box next to "Tell me if Internet Explorer is not the default web browser"> Click on Apply then Ok.
